Bride's Gowns & Bridesmaid Dress Sizing
*Note: The gowns in this category can be custom made to your exact measurements for a P4200 tailoring fee. There are no refunds or exchanges allowed on custom measurement gowns.
All measurements are in inches (Reference: 1inch=2.54cm)
Please make sure you measure your bust line, waistline, hip line, so you can order the wedding dress that best fits you. Wedding dresses are made differently from daily casual clothing sizes, so be sure to measure your size before ordering.
HOW TO COLLECT YOUR MEASUREMENTS
1) Bust line - line across the fullest part of your bust line.
2) Waistline - measure few inches above your bellybutton, smallest part of your waist.
3) Hip line - line across the fullest part of your hipline.
4) Hollow to Hem - Hollow to hem is the frontal measurement from the bottom of your neck (the indentation between your collar bones) to the hem. When measuring, make sure you are wearing all of your undergarments, including any extra slips. You should also be wearing shoes with a heel height similar to the ones you will wear with your wedding dress.
For example, if your measurements are Bust 34”, Waist 28”, Hip 39” what size will fit the best? — the best choice will be size 12 for this person. Her bust will fit into size 6, however her waistline and hips will not fit into size 6. She will need to alter the bust line once she receives the bride's dress or bridesmaid gown .
It is always easier to alter the bride's dress from large to smaller, so please keep that in mind at the time of order. Your local seamstresses should be able to alter your wedding dress in 1-2 weeks.
